Create impact as a Senior Underwriter, Professional Risks

Your Role

As a Senior Underwriter, you’ll be part of a team responsible for underwriting professional risks, including those of a large and complex nature. You’ll negotiate tailored terms for individual accounts so that form part of the Professional Indemnity Insurance and Directors & Officers Insurance Portfolios. 

This role will see you providing class-leading levels of customer service to our Broking partners and internal stake holders, as well as grow the portfolio utilising your strong technical ability, relationship skills and market contacts. 

This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based in Sydney or Melbourne.

About You 

• Solid experience within Underwriting or Broker experience in financial lines products 
• Demonstrated understanding of financial lines products 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong understanding of marketing and sales and results outcome focussed. 
• Demonstrated underwriting and analytical skills and qualifications
