Senior Program Manager - Diversity, Inclusion, and Learning

Position Overview: The Senior Program Manager, Diversity, Inclusion, and Learning (DIL)is responsible for supporting the development and management of inclusion and learning programs at NYCEDC. The Senior Program Manager will support organizational inclusion through a range of initiatives, from training to other employee growth and belonging programs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Learning to develop and improve programs that support organizational culture
  • Facilitate and deliver learning programs using a variety of materials and methods (e.g. training, coaching, workshops, virtual learning) in competencies such as leadership and management, interpersonal communication, and teamwork
  • Manage and support other offerings such as the organization’s Mentorship Program, DEI-focused training, and compliance training
  • Evaluate organizational learning and development needs using various measurement methods
  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on metrics related to program effectiveness for the organization
  • Actively research and build the organization’s database of approved trainers, coaches, and related vendors who are in alignment with EDC’s values and culture
  • Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee development and training events
  • Develop and maintain organizational communications such as internal announcements and internal marketing to ensure employees have knowledge of related events and resources
  • Support the oversight of the Employee Resource Group program as needed
  • Work closely with all members of the DIL and HR team to foster a collaborative environment that generates impactful insights, and innovative ideas and opportunities for NYCEDC
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • At least three to five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs
  • Current knowledge of best practices in organizational culture and inclusion
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in gathering, evaluating, and reporting data
  • Familiar with e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proven presentation skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs
  • New York City residency is required within 180 days of hire

Salary Range

$75,000—$77,000 USD
