Solar Projects GmbH provides an extensive range of services, from greenfield development and turnkey construction to financing options and the operation of ground-mounted or floating solar parks and hybrid plants. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Munich, Freiburg or Berlin and are currently looking for a Project Manager Europe – PV and BESS (d/m/f))
What You Will Do
- Ensuring on-time and on budget execution of Solar PV and/or Battery Storage projects in Europe from late stage of development, until COD
- Leading and coordinating a diverse project team comprising of legal, technical, PPA, sales and financing members
- Supporting team to ‘structure’ subsidy-free projects, i.e. secure PPA, project financing, EPC contract, etc.
- Securing internal investment approvals (including preparation and defense of investment proposals)
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards with other teams, especially EPC
- Management of relationship with 3rd-party advisors, service providers and contractors
- Management of relationship with external stakeholders (e.g. municipalities, grid operators, regional bodies)
What You Bring
- Business, technical or legal university degree
- Qualified professional experience in project management, ideally in the photovoltaic or Batterie Storage sector
- High degree of self-responsibility, entrepreneurial understanding and flexibility
- Good negotiation management, coupled with high sensitivity to different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
- Willingness to deepen knowledge of site-securing, interconnection and permitting processes as well as financial modelling of renewable projects
- Fluent spoken and written business English and German
- High willingness to travel throughout Europe
