For the HR Service Management product team, we are looking for a UI/UX Senior Designer & Developer to design, develop, support, and evolve the user experience around Human Resources Service Delivery portfolio (HRSD) -within the ServiceNow cloud-based platform- by making our digital solutions available through an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.

The UI/UX Senior Designer will closely work with a team of senior ServiceNow consultants and developers to create prototypes, perform test products and ensure that the final product meets all user requirements.

It will be required for the UI/UX Senior Designer to apply early user research as the basis for granting a successful and intuitive customer interaction in ServiceNow Portal and Mobile applications.

Demonstrated experience in graphic and/or web design is also expected.

Finally, being the regional responsible for addressing local support as the person of contact of the Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) product team.

Responsibilities and Key Outcomes 

  • Work with HR ServiceNow Senior consultants and developers, product managers, business customers and providers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business needs around HR Service Delivery in the portal and mobile applications of ServiceNow platform.
  • Support the product manager, platform architect and platform owner, as part of the DevOps team, in the development of the strategy of HR services offering and user experience while accessing to the portal and mobile contents of ServiceNow HR solutions.
  • Create and maintain solid customer relationships as the regional person of contact for Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) product team.
  • Understand HR business process needs and design the appropriate user interface to support the flows and solutions in ServiceNow, based on platform and enterprise best practices.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into user-friendly designs to utterly have a direct impact on the customer's user-experience. 
  • Conduct user research during UX design in alignment with the product owners to ensure that the development solution meets customer expectations.
  • Create and/or support the creation of training materials for the functionality and processes in scope (SOPs, standard routines, video-teasers, and guided tours).
  • Act as an advisor to process owners, stakeholders, and other team members around user experience optimization.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities and options for improvement based on users’ insights, out of the box functionality and process integration.
  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with in scope process and ensure they are considered in the solution design.
  • Partner with business and IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IT requirements.
  • Work with business partners to conduct/support paper-based design, POCs, solutioning sessions, and MVP taste-testing all along the life cycle from business demand to value delivery.

Education and work experience

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant Business/IT studies with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 5 + years of working experience in UI / UX designer. 
  • 4 + years of experience as and implementation as a front-end developer.
  • Expert knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Expert knowledge of modern UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, DOM, Ajax
  • Knowledge of one or more client side MVC/MVVM frameworks, preferable AngularJS or Bootstrap.

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

  • Expert knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Expert knowledge of modern UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, DOM, Ajax
  • Knowledge of one or more client side MVC/MVVM frameworks, preferable AngularJS or Bootstrap.

Soft Skills

  • Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills)

  • Technical consulting skills.
  • Ideally business consulting experience in IT/Digitalization of Human Resources.
  • Experienced in Enterprise IT infrastructure technologies and support lifecycle requirements.
  • Familiar with SAFe or similar Agile methodologies and practices.
  • About 2 years of working experience around ServiceNow applications.
  • Good database knowledge: SQL, T-SQL, MySQL, SQL SSRS.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and testing frameworks.
