The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will assist with the development of technical solutions to enhance the IAM program for the Baker Hughes Enterprise. This position will be responsible for working with identity and access management leadership to design, build, and test technical solutions for the analytics program, which is responsible for mitigating the risks posed by internal activity.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Implementing and supporting of the Identity and access management Controls to manage authentication for internal and external users.
  • Detecting and Predictive controls planning and development
  • Having analytics capabilities, including risk scoring models, thresholds, baselines, key indicators, and reporting
  • Implementing the strategic direction and focus of the detection, prevention and analytics program
  • Assisting with the development of a comprehensive change management and incident escalation process and procedures
  • Assisting with new integrations and introduction of additional security controls to enhance IAM posture
  • Assisting with driving projects and work streams within the IAM program
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for system functionality
  • Leading new application ingestion processes and procedures
  • Additional - IGA understanding and experience

Required Qualifications: 

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • Have a minimum 4 years of professional experience in Authentication, SSO, MFA and IAM
  • Desired Characteristics
  • Have a primary skillset in Identity and Access Management, which includes Authn, MFA, workflows automation, least privileged access, RBAC, OIDC, SAML and risk based authentication
  • Be leading and completing org level and team level initiatives to automate and streamline processes. Should have relevant experience in the same
  • Have a general understanding of supporting technologies including SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, SQL, and XACML.
  • Have experience with IAM solutions like Okta, Azure AD, Cyber-Ark, Ping Identity, Siteminder, Attribute Exchange Network
  • Have experience with Java / NodeJS / Go / PHP / Python, Powershell
  • Have working knowledge of OWASP Web/API vulnerabilities and compensating controls (CSRF, XSS, SQLI, etc.)
  • Be familiar with encryption fundamentals: PKI, Encryption, Digital Signatures & Key Management
  • Have Software development cycle and automated testing experience (TDD/BDD)
  • Have working knowledge of source control tools such as CVS/SVN /Git , with preference for Git.

Technical Expertise:

  • Have IDAM, Authn, SSO and MFAexperience - Okta legacy, Okta OIE and Azure AD
  • Have good development background, with a focus on secure development.
  • Have knowledge of API Security Architecture
  • Have working knowledge of Cloud Provider security architecture design patterns.
