Are you looking to gain practical knowledge in healthcare technology and sharpen business skillsets?

If yes, we at Roche are looking for Latvian-speaking trainees to be part of our Regional Customer Support Center EMEA (Roche RCSC) in Warsaw, Poland. Joining the traineeship, you will be integrated into a multinational team to assist our experts in solving varied scientific application and technical issues related to Roche’s advanced medical technologies currently utilized by hospitals and clinics across 7 countries.

Through our work, we help doctors and healthcare professionals ensure stable laboratory workflows and recommend treatment solutions that deliver superior care to patients.

What you will experience during the traineeship:

• Build on your knowledge of medical diagnostics instruments such as Serum Work Area (Clinical Chemistry, Immunology), Hospital Point of Care, IT
• Support Roche engineers to identify and troubleshoot instrument failures through remote access, by phone or in written form as a key contact point for labs and research centers (Roche’s healthcare customers)
• Assist with on-site activities in Latvia or attend rotation training where applicable
• Participate in other projects as necessary

The traineeship is for you if:

• You are currently a Bachelor’s or Master‘s student, or recently graduated from one of these majors: Medical University, Healthcare Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar programmes
• You have fluent communication skills in Latvian (mandatory) and good English proficiency (B1/B2)
• You have strong analytical thinking and a keen interest in problem-solving
• You are motivated to help people and to learn in a fast-paced multicultural environment
• You use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at ease
• You are eager to step out of your comfort zone and gain experience abroad with Roche

• A paid traineeship for ideally 6- months (15-35 hours/week) with the opportunity to extend it for another 6 months

Please note that the traineeship does not offer research or experiments in a lab but rather, insights into topics including Roche‘s in-vitro diagnostics instruments, technical support workflows and systems, work organization, implementation of new tools (including IT) from an industry perspective.
