Job Role:

  • Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution
  • Conduct solution architecture review/audit and create review/audit report
  • Design and guide technical leads to build large-scale/medium-scale solutions using at least one technology stack [.NET, Azure. Angular] (If needed for critical workflows)
  • Create solution architecture document on good level with deep technical details
  • Lead implementation of the solution from setting up project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"
  • Oversee the development efforts and provide technical help as needed
  • Participate in customer’s workshops and presentation of the proposed solution
  • Directly communicate with partners during solution architecture design or solution implementation activities
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, attend technical conferences/guilds, and apply those practices to Allegion’s process.
  • Create and follow personal education plan in the technology stack and solution architecture
  • Conduct advisory on creation of personal education plan for colleagues
  • Responsible for architecting, designing, developing new solutions and enhancing existing solutions with new features additions and quality improvements. (If required for critical workflows)
  • Responsible for setting up the standards, practices, and process for ensuring high code quality of the deliverables.
  • Peer reviews for code and design (If needed for critical workflows)
  • Provide technical leadership and technical leads / senior developers.
  • Works collaboratively across multiple business units and architectural teams to ensure that stakeholder needs are acknowledged, and requirements are appropriately included in the backlog
  • Responsible for managing and completing significant projects involving multiple components and subsystems.
  • Ability to relate to others, proved resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process, ability to assess risk and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Effective written, verbal, presentations, and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, concepts and to make critical decisions.
  • Actively collaborate with global Lead Software Engineers to work on solutions, standards, architecture, and designs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum experience of 10 to 14 yrs. in Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, .NET C#)
  • 6+ years of full-stack web development and programming experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience in hands-on development of solutions of different nature (web applications, web services, desktop applications, and/or mobile applications) on .NET platform. Solution Architecture experience on .NET Core and Azure/AWS Cloud.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing relational and non-relational data storages.
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical leadership
  • Strong development background with the development platform (.NET, Microservices, Cloud – AWS/Azure)
  • Strong development background with the Object-Oriented JavaScript stack, Angular 10 & above
  • Strong background using various libraries, framework, and patterns in particular technology stack
  • Strong background in design and implementation of external services integrations (using REST, SOAP and/or ESB)
  • Proven knowledge of cloud technologies and migration strategies. Experience in building cloud-native solutions
  • Strong experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes, approaches, and methods (SCRUM/SCRUMBAN /KANBAN)
  • Deep expertise in solution architecture with 2+ years of hands-on experience, web application architecture, web services architectures, relational and non-relational data storage specific, web application front-end and/or back-end architecture, solution cross-cutting concerns (security, monitoring, caching, etc.
  • Strong understanding of mission critical application architecture design, scalable application architecture design, high performance application architecture design
  • Strong expertise in architectural styles, enterprise architecture patterns, integration patterns, development patterns, architecture artifacts and deliverables
  • solution architecture design approaches and practices, change management processes
  • Understand performance issues and approaches to address them systematically
  • Strong Leadership and communications, proactive approach, and leadership in architecture engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI CD pipelines
  • Strong Knowledge of tools such SonarQube, BlackDuck, and their effective use
  • Excellent understanding of NPM modules and demonstrated contributions to NPM packages.
