You will be working as Senior Data Scientist at global grade 13 and will be part of Finance Services Business Area for Financial Planning & Analysis Services Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manager - Advanced Analytics and AI and will be responsible for providing data insights and analytics to the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Working with business managers to frame a problem, both mathematically and within the business context. Understanding business data and how to use it appropriately in data analysis
  • Performing exploratory data analysis to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and Construct and fit statistical, machine learning, or optimization models
  • Applying and developing appropriate advanced statistical, machine learning and/or deep learning models and algorithms to classify structured or unstructured data
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop analytical solutions to optimize business processes. Effectively working in an inter-disciplinary team environment
  • Enabling ML models deployment, integration, bridging the gap between data science and operations to ensure the efficient and effective use of machine learning models in real-world applications
  • Supporting the scoping and implementation of technical solutions: estimate, prioritize and coordinate development activities. Testing performance of machine learning and deep learning models
  • Performing analysis using industry leading text mining, data mining and analytical tools and open source software. Leading and mentoring multiple junior data scientists on approach and results. Author technical documentation as needed

Your background

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Applied Statistics/Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research or related field from a reputed university
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in Advanced Analytics, Statistical modeling and machine learning supervised and unsupervised: Forecasting, Classification, Clustering
  • Experience in Analyzing the Complex Problems and translate it into data science algorithms
  • Highly proficient with analytical/predictive modeling software. (Python/R/SAS or similar) and Strong understanding and experience with predictive / analytical modeling techniques, theories, principles, and practices
  • Experience in Cloud implementation of end-to-end Analytics project ensuring robust, scalable and innovative solution
  • Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Big data technology experience (Spark, Hadoop, Hive SQL)
  • Experience in Gen AI technologies and with Teradata, SQL and relational databases and data warehouse
