The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.
Position Summary:

The Innovation Manager provides oversight, meeting facilitation, leadership, qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, and reporting across the spectrum of HHC Innovation work. The Innovation Manager supports the strategy, programs, and subject matter experts to achieve the health systems strategic Innovation goals. The Innovation manager is dynamic and hands on, working collaboratively across teams to foster positive partnerships within and beyond the Hartford Healthcare System.

Requirements and Specifications:
Education
o Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field.
o Additional education or experience working with healthcare systems, startups, finance, marketing, as well as information and technology disciplines, is desirable
Experience
o Two to three years of healthcare administration or a related field.
o Two or more years of experience with project management and/or change management.
o Six months or more of exposure to innovation and entrepreneurship with startups.
o Three or more years of project and change management.
o One year or more experience working in an entrepreneurial and innovation environment.
o Experience in healthcare administration with an emphasis on Innovation.
