About this opportunity 

  • This key position will be a part of the Global Product FP&A Organization and is responsible for conducting in-depth analyses into Product Peroformance at Align’s Product and Growth Strategy.
  • This position acts as an internal consultant, evaluating business cases, conducting accurate and timely ad-hoc analysis and instituting success criteria to influence decision making
  • Responsibilities range from sourcing complex data, manipulation to analyze and presentation of key business insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Responsibilities also include in the development of effective, strong relationships with key stakeholders (Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance and Business Intelligence/IT teams)

In this role, you will… 

  • Analytics Experience in partnership with Marketing, Growth and Product Management departments
  • Own and execute complex analysis of business problems and hypothesis. Influence and build scalable reporting solutions and forecasting models to bring forth insights.
  • Ability to think outside the box, be a proactive strategic thinker and develop complex business-cases in order to identify drivers behind change in trends by product, region, channel, customer segment or other factors.
  • Ability to facilitate AB testing and experimentation, starting with experiment design, incrementality testing across our breadth of marketing channels and product development initiatives.
  • Ability to prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and implement key performance metrics that help identify business opportunities and measure performance of the business.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to forecast, understand product and program incrementality, cannibalization among other things.
  • Provide analytic support for development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plans
  • Provide support to Global Finance, Product, Marketing, Sales and Operations teams in answering ad hoc questions, providing training on reports and dashboards, and providing and providing proactive analytics.
  • Ability to translate complex business & financial analysis in simple layman terms

In this role, you’ll need … 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in business or analytical field preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in Finance/Marketing/Product Analytics and/or other reporting/analytical functions preferably in a managerial role
  • Prior experience building strong cross-functional skills with Cross functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT/BI) required.
  • Strong database and query skills are required (specifically MS Excel, SQL) required.
  • High proficiency MS Excel is required (Ability to model out data first in excel is usually recommended when developing new models)
  • Strong skills developing and presenting analysis and recommendations in Power Point are required.
  • Strong skills in building reports, dashboards, and scorecards in Power BI, QlikView or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience with Web and App analytics platforms strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and tools, Python preferred.

Primary Location Base Salary Range: $190,500 to $225,400 USD

Base salary ranges are a guideline used to determine appropriate pay. Placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable commission plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
