As a Writer within Capital Group, you will be a member of the broader Marketing team and will produce creative, customized content focused on target date and other multi-asset solutions. You will collaborate with sales, product, and other marketing associates to promote the business line and develop impactful content for key audiences. This content will not only be focused on external users, but will enable advisors and/or consultants/intermediaries to help grow our business. You are ready to use your knowledge of financial markets and asset management to write content ranging from white papers and web articles to presentations and sales brochures. You can manage projects from end-to-end: understanding the audience, developing the story, and working with stakeholders to meet their needs.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on marketing, economics, finance, journalism, or a related field.
  • You have strong foundational knowledge of the investment industry
  • You have a portfolio of editorial content that exemplifies superb writing skills and the ability to distill and synthesize complex ideas into clear prose.
  • You have demonstrated an interest in being part of a marketing and sales organization, you are eager to learn about our products, marketing strategy and the needs of our audiences, and will use that information to develop and shape your content.
  • You thrive in team settings. You have worked previously with stakeholders to develop content on products and/or trends in the financial services industry.
  • You are digitally savvy. You have good understanding of digital tools and channels, such as social media, search, and content marketing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $103,977-$166,363

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
