You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues with a range of expertise - research, behavioural, data, economics - both in the UK and internationally.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Leading strands of projects, developing strong day-to-day client relationships
  • Analysing policy problems, reviewing evidence and developing options
  • Helping to develop tools and resources for us to deliver consultancy projects
  • Bringing in insights from colleagues from a range of professions. This includes economists, evaluators, behavioural experts and researchers
  • Supporting the Directors and Associate Directors in identifying and winning potential opportunities through open tenders and building trusted relationships with clients.

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home. We have offices in London, Manchester and Edinburgh and welcome applications from candidates who are able to work from one of these locations.

What do I need to bring with me?

Essential:

  • Some experience with the UK government / public policy
  • A passion for, and understanding of, the public sector – from the development of policies to the delivery of services in different areas of public life
  • The aptitude and ability to quickly build relationships, including with senior clients
  • Some domain knowledge in one or more areas of policy
  • Demonstrated creativity in solving clients’ problems in public sector settings
