Role Overview
The Strategy & Advisory team are policy experts who use Ipsos’s extensive evidence base and leading research and analysis methods to develop policy options and shape strategies with clients.
We are looking for consultants to help build the function, lead projects and contribute to the unit's growth.
What will I be doing?
As a consultant in the Strategy & Advisory team, you will play a key role in delivering strategy and policy projects with leading public sector clients.
You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues with a range of expertise - research, behavioural, data, economics - both in the UK and internationally.
We are looking for people with policy expertise who have worked in or with government, a creative mind, and a collaborative ethos.
You will have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset and the ability to build relationships.
Examples of policy domain expertise are health, justice, energy and the environment, science and innovation, technology, and economic policy – but other areas will also be of interest to us.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home. We have offices in London, Manchester and Edinburgh and welcome applications from candidates who are able to work from one of these locations.

We work with clients on political and public opinion polling, citizen and stakeholder management, social policy improvement, sustainable development strategy and identifying societal trends and perceptions across several sectors. We assess how government and public affairs policies as well as societal trends and views impact our client’s brand/products/markets.
