Lead Solutions Architect

Chiswick – London (Hybrid Working)

About the role

The Lead Solution Architect will be responsible for progressive management of the designing and implementing of multiple complex solutions against a specific business portfolio. This will be a mixture of directly designing themselves, or a co-ordination of efforts across subordinate Solution Architects in their reporting line or in collaboration across multiple reporting lines and teams. 

The successful candidate will lead a team of Solution Architects and provide technical guidance and governance to project teams to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business, enterprise objectives and stakeholder buy-in

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Solution Architects to design and implement complex solutions through to delivery
  • Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap against Enterprise Architecture guidance and associated artefacts
  • Collaborate with project, development, and vendor teams to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business objectives, manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Provide technical guidance and governance to project teams
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to the business
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, governance routes, business presentations and benefits realisation measurements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

To be successful in the role, you will have: 

  • Extensive experience in Senior Solutions Architecture or application design.
  • Strong understanding of architecture principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project solution architecture teams.
  • Experience in the development of cloud-based technology; migrations and deployments.
  • Certification in TOGAF, ISO27001/2, ITIL, ISEB, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, would be desirable.
  • Great stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.
