About the role:

In this role as a DevOps Manager, you will:

  • Be a Leader: Lead a diverse set of global DevOps engineers. Provide technical vision and thought leadership across the team’s projects and responsibilities.
  • Be a Coach: Coach and mentor DevOps engineers; proactively identify training and growth opportunities. Provide technical direction and guidance to your team.
  • Deliver Solutions: Provide technical input and analysis to tactical and strategic planning. Utilize technical expertise and experience to architect solutions in AWS environments. Provide expert technical planning and risk analysis to ensure accurate and timely service deployments.
  • Drive Continuous Improvements: Optimize systems and services for security, automation, and performance/availability, while ensuring solutions developed adhere and align to architecture standards.
  • Build Relationships: Partner with development, security, shared services, and operations teams to deliver compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications.
  • Be Innovative: Foster a continuous learning culture and a curiosity about emerging technologies.

About you:

You are a fit for this position if your background includes:

  • 3+ years of experience managing DevOps teams responsible for developing/supporting enterprise-class applications.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in DevOps and/or technology infrastructure and operations.
  • Proven ability to set direction and inspire team members to engage and deliver on a vision.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud platform – s3, Cloudfront, Cloudformation, RDS, Opensearch, Active MQ, AWS EKS.
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD, preferably on AWS Developer tools, and Software Release Management concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies including GitHub/GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Services.
  • Available for on-call support as needed (on rotation basis) to ensure business continuity.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • A management style that is collaborative, energetic, and results oriented.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by complex technical and business challenges.
