ABOUT THE TEAM

The Finance Team is Trendyol's control center. The team acts as a bridge between commercial teams and customers in order to provide financial sustainability and efficiency for the company.

We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and maintaining compliance control processes and risk assesment control matrices
  • Identify non-compliance issues and develop solutions to support business management in mitigating risks
  • Developing recommendations to mitigate compliance risks and improve compliance controls
  • Making ad-hoc projects in risky areas of the company
  • Participate in review and update of business processes to meet changing business needs and identified gaps
  • Monitoring process and policy changes throughout the organization
  • To follow the regulations within the scope of local and international sanctions. (OFAC, UN, EU, MASAK, etc.)
  • Support in the evaluation of the impacts of newly issued regulations on new and/or existing products, services, and processes, and provide guidance to business units on compliance matters
  • Perform KYC review and onboarding assessments on new and existing partners
  • Perform initial and periodic due diligence and risk assessment activities relating to customer identification and verification
  • Create and maintain accurate and up to date KYC records
  • Investigate high-risk KYC profiles in the onboarding and monitoring phase
  • Undertake regular, periodic and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders, legal authorities etc.
  • Data analysis to identify compliance risk related areas in the company

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 2+ years of demonstrable sanctions compliance experience and experience with advising on sanction related topics
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, Financing of Terrorism, and Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. (Both MASAK and International Regulations)
  • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Clear and concise verbal/written communication and data reporting skills
  • Proficiency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
  • Motivated self-starter who works well individually and able to work effectively with multiple teams
  • Pick up new information easily, take initiative and have a great sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Professional qualifications such as CTMA, CAMS, CGSS, CCAS are plus
