Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Apache Nifi Developer/Admin

In this role, ThreadConnect Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration.

Also support the Application platform and interfaces which are In-production.

Responsibilities

  • experience in Developing and Supporting production interfaces.
  • Design and implement data flow solutions using Apache NiFi.
  • Deploy, configure, and optimize NiFi clusters in varied environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid).
  • Handle cluster scalability, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Coordinate with development teams to integrate custom processors and services.
  • Monitor NiFi cluster health, performance metrics, and system alerts.
  • Implement best practices to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Optimize data flow processing, backpressure settings, and resource utilization.
  • Implement and manage security configurations, including SSL/TLS, authentication, and authorization.
  • Ensure data protection using NiFi’s encryption capabilities.
  • Implement and monitor data lineage and provenance policies.
  • Resolve technical issues and challenges concerning NiFi deployments.
  • Update and maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Understanding of Agile development and DevOpsQualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE/B Tech/MCA/B.Sc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Experience working on production tickets.
  • Deep understanding of NiFi architecture, data flow management, and related components.
  • Hands-on experience with NiFi Registry, versioned flows, and controller services.
  • Hands-on experience with any Scripting language like Groovy, Python...
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, Linux environments, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
