Responsibilities

• Comprehend business requirements within the BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Develop dashboards and create interactive reports using Power BI.
• Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with well-defined objectives and consistently monitor them.
• Analyze data and present it through reports to facilitate decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and establish timelines for task completion.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts, conducting detailed analyses efficiently.
• Execute DAX queries and functions within Power BI.
• Generate charts and document data with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
• Engage in data warehouse development.
• Utilize SQL querying to achieve optimal results.
• Apply filters and graphs to enhance data comprehension.
• Define and design new systems by analyzing existing ETL processes.
• Implement technical modifications to existing BI systems to improve their functionality.
• Reconcile data between source and target.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with BI reporting tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI.
• Profound knowledge in data integration, data warehousing, modeling, business intelligence, and presentation concepts.
• Experience with tools and systems in the MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX.
• Proficiency in creating data-rich dashboards and implementing row-level security in Power BI.
• Strong command of SQL, including joins, indexing, partitions, functions, views, procedures, etc.
• Familiarity with coding languages such as Java, XML, and SQL is preferred.
• Understanding of warehousing architecture techniques.
• Experience in data warehousing (DWH) and Big Data.
• Proven work experience as a BI Reports developer.
• Sufficient knowledge of OLAP, SSAS, SSIS, and MDX.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with Cloud Deployments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
