Are you interested in working for a company that makes a difference? If so, Keystone Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist. This is a hybrid position supporting operations in the Harrisburg, PA area. 

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for implementing human resources strategies that contribute to organizational success in selecting, engaging and developing employees, reducing costs, improving performance, and ultimately enhancing the experiences of the people we serve. The position assists management and the Human Resources Director to identify human resources needs in the assigned region or agency, works with human resources centers of expertise and administrative services to respond to those needs, and ensures excellence and consistency in human resources practices across Keystone Human Services.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of Human Resources experience required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge will be considered; PHR or higher certification strongly preferred.
• Competence in most Human Resources disciplines, especially employee relations, selection processes, and employee engagement.
• Knowledge in learning, career development and change management preferred.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with state and federal employment laws, and understand or be able to quickly learn the assigned area's business model and its implications for Human Resources strategy and tactics.
• Ability to diagnose organizational problems and implement Human Resources strategies and solutions; coaching, counseling, conflict management and influencing skills.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
• Ability to learn and apply intermediate computer skills, including the use of the Human Resources Information System and other web based systems.
• Valid driver's license and access to privately maintained vehicle required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
