FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Art & Music Department seeks to hire Adjunct Lecturers or Adjunct Assistant Professors with the ability to teach courses in Art History.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses art history and be available for students on a regular weekly basis. Day, evening, weekend, and distance learning classes may be assigned as needed by the department. Professional development may be assigned for new instructors as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
For Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate field for Art History.
Minimum 2-years college teaching and industry-related experience. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field. Master’s degree preferred. Some teaching and/or industry-related experience required. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Community college teaching experience preferred.

For Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100/hr.
For Adjunct Lecturer:¿ $91.67/hr.
