About the Role

The Senior Director, Product Marketing takes responsibility for teams on a number of product or solution areas focused on outbound marketing activities that encompass product positioning, messaging, product strategy, collateral creation, and execution of marketing programs in vertical segments. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategically recruit, cultivate, and coach a premier product marketing team.
  • Architect and implement marketing plans for a diverse range of product offerings, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
  • Serve as a pivotal thought leader for our products, influencing both internal stakeholders and the broader market.
  • Evaluate and refine marketing programs through a data-centric approach to maximize impact.
  • Conduct and disseminate competitive market analysis, establishing our products' edge in the marketplace.
  • Develop an authoritative understanding of customer purchase patterns, tailoring strategies to various product scales and market verticals.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional leaders to enhance synergy and drive success.
  • Oversee the pricing and packaging strategies for your product portfolio in alignment with Product Management, Finance, and our Pricing and Packaging teams.

Who You Are

  • Demonstrated ability lead and develop a Product Marketing (PMM) team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the security industry.
  • Robust data analysis skills with the ability to convey market and product trends compellingly.
  • Expertise in synthesizing complex technical details into engaging marketing narratives.
  • Financial acumen in product economics and crafting business justifications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B Software product marketing experience, with minimum of 3 years of SaaS required
  • Proven ability to grow and energize teams to get results
  • 3+ years experience leading complex teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • 6-7+ years formal leadership experience
