Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. Mobile Networks is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will: 

• Learn by working with Nokia machine learning and analytics experts 
• Engage in hands-on development of AI-powered solutions, leveraging LLMs to streamline and innovate our data processing workflows. 
• Validate the implementation and compare the proposed solutions 
• Explore and get familiar with various open-source software libraries 
• Present research findings through papers and oral presentations within the organization 
• Actively participate in new and challenging projects to gain hands-on experience in machine learning 
• Apply machine learning methods to exciting applications that can positively impact the future of Nokia 

REQUIRED SKILLS

You should have: 

• Active student status 
• Good English and Polish, both spoken and written
• Very good Python programming skills 
• Understanding of the training process of machine learning models 
• Experience in PyTorch 
• Basic understanding of RAG systems 
• Large autonomy in work, ability to ask for support, good communication, strong attention to details
