Family Description
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
You will be working in Architecture & Specification team in System-on-Chip Development Unit. Our team is responsible to define and drive best in class SoC technologies, IPs and architectures for Nokia wireless network SoCs. We work in close co-operation with product management, other development units and build the future with Nokia Bell Labs research organization.
We're seeking an experienced technical expert on SoC software architecture in 6G chipsets. You will be working with chipset software architecture and specialized processing engines for Layer 1 processing, including DSPs and ASIPs (Application Specific Instruction set Processor). Your architect role will include coordination with a broad group of stakeholders from several development units, development and alignment of APIs, and writing technical specifications of SW architectures. Also, you’ll prepare proposals for decision-making in architecture decision teams. You’ll contribute to SoC and SoC software strategy and work with long-term technology development projects as part of your work. This includes planning the transition to 6G and preparing SoC platforms for 6G technologies.
