Introduction

Research is looking for a student to join our Intelligent Automation group.

At our group we’re developing the next generation of No code – UI Automation. These new generation of software can be taught to perform tasks without any programming. Instead, they collaborate and interact with users, watch, and understand how they perform their tasks, and transform these understanding into automation code. These capabilities are powered by LLMs and transformers models that support combination of natural language, vision, and semantic understanding tasks.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a student to join our Intelligent Automation research team and contribute to our ambitious innovation efforts. As a student you will be responsible to develop and adapt state of the art LLMs and Transformers. Your job will include conducting research, preparing datasets, training models, and demonstrating the use of the models in prototypes of No-code UI Automation platforms.

Location:

IBM Research Lab, Israel (in the Haifa University Campus)

IBM Site in Hashahar Tower , Givataim (Near Tel-Aviv Arlozorov train station)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

MSc or PhD student in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a focus on NLP / LLM

Experience with implementing Deep Learning models (Pytorch, GPUs)

Hands-on experience in one or more: Python, JavaScript, Typescript

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

In depth knowledge and/or experience with: Computer Vision, Self-supervised Learning

Experience in publishing at peer-reviewed conference/journals
