Job Summary:
- Preparing bid requests, contract proposals, and other documents needed to initiate a procurement process.
- Locates and works with the appropriate departments to qualify new suppliers.
- Negotiate the execution of agreements to secure a competitive market position for Neogen.
- Identifies key materials for the company and secures secondary/tertiary suppliers for these items.
- Maintains a pulse on market conditions for the designated product lines/commodities and recommends needed actions to minimize risks for the company.
- Onboards New Suppliers to ensure all needed forms/documentation has been completed.
- Works with Quality and Regulatory departments to resolve any identified issues/risks with a supplier.
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders and departments.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing/purchasing organization at global company
- Bachelor of Science or Higher Education
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience with Microsoft 365 especially excel and Power BI
- Experience across commodities in Pharma/Life Science, Automotive or Aerospace is an advantage.
- Experience in leading negotiations and managing small to medium value procurement projects.
