Kaizen is searching for a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for the anticipated USAID Procurement and Supply Chain activity in Ukraine. The goals of this activity strengthen pharmaceutical sector resilience, increase pharmaceutical sector governance transparency and ensure that the essential medicines system is increasingly patient-centered.
Duties
The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will support the COP managing day-to-day activity operations, including the project's administration, logistics, procurement, budgeting and financial accounting (which may include cash flow management, timesheet recording and daily monitoring of obligations, budgets, and expenditures). Ensures that activity implementation is in accordance with USAID regulations and procedures and the specifications determined in the Scope of Work (SOW), which may include monitoring grantee worthiness; assuring fair and transparent procurement processes; reviewing financial management; and monitoring activity implementation. The DCOP will serve as Acting COP in the absence of the COP. Other duties as assigned. This position will be based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
