Job Description

The Contract Manager is part of Project Core Team, supporting the Employer and Project team on to ensure that the project is successfully delivered on time and within budget, managing change and assessing the operational and financial risks for proposed construction project plans and process for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management tasks.

  • Lead all pre & post contract management tasks of the Project and support Client's global procurement in managing internal and external procurement activities
  • Lead and manage all incoming & outgoing contractual & commercial correspondences
  • Works closely with Project Controller to manage Project Milestones and manage all EOT (if any) related claims
  • Perform cost validation for work assignments/packages and subsequent change order management.
  • Lead negotiations with Contractor to drive to best value. Subsequently offer independent assessment of the bids for compliance to the RFP requirements and comparison to budget using clients' templates.
  • Provide periodic reports & Registrations for VO, Claims, Insurances Payment & etc.
  • Support Project Team for timely delivery of the Project and within the Budget.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Construction, Building, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years contract management experience consist of 10 years’ experience in FIDIC Contract with minimum 5 years in managerial role as a Contract Manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience in the management of multi-disciplined semiconductor projects and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.
  • Practiced in contract management, quantity surveying, cost & claim management, project risks & opportunities management
  • Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
