Role: Associate/Architect - Data (AbInitio)
Work Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Trivandrum (Hybrid)
Experience: 7+ Years
Must Have:
- To help migrate ETL jobs from the existing Ab Initio to AWS Cloud
- Design and build a migration strategy
- Interpret complex graphs/jobs implemented in Ab Initio
- Help the Data Engineering team to understand the business logic, source and target data, and any edge cases to be considered during development
- Create a high-level block diagram/flow of the job - Source tables, filters, joins, the target schema, and data
- Help with validation of output data generated through Spark code against the Ab Initio output
- Ability to communicate technical roadmap, challenges, and mitigation
- Technical Point of contact between clients and offshore technical team
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Ab Initio
- Familiarity with SDLC concepts and processes
Good to have skills:
- Python, Pyspark
- AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift
- Automation and CICD Tools
