The role

• Ensure completing of tax, statistical and financial reportings in accordance with UA legislation (GAAP, Tax code, others), IFRS reporting on a monthly basis,
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed,
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. Ensuring monthly closing in 1C, Navision; reconciliation of the two accounting systems on a monthly basis,
• Ensure tax compliance, identify and avoid of possible tax risks and tax penalties,
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines,
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements,
• Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review,
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions,
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management,
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion,
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed, manage of the accounting team; coordination and evaluation of their perfomance,
• Ensure of the registration of the primary accounting documents, their storage, verification of payment documents,
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts,
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations,
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations,
• Coordinating Inter company operations with Group, ensuring compliance with TP regulations in Ukraine,
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.

What we need to see from you

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as International Financial Reporting Standards,
• Ability to meet the demands of an ever-changing business environment,
• Critical mind in identifying and defining clearly the problem, evaluating different ideas or ways of solving the problem from the data gathered, and making a choice on which one is the best among the different ideas evaluated,
• MS Office experience required including extensive Excel knowledge,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, Time management and organizational skills,
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as leadership and administrative skills,
• Excellent knowledge of tax and accounting UA legislation,
• Knowledge of accounting software: 1C, ART-ZVIT, Navision (as an advantage),
• English - Intermediate.
