We are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with AWS experience to augment our Cloud Infrastructure team. You will be an integral part of a team that will deliver our firm's next-generation cloud-based PaaS platform. You will work directly with other team members to identify, design, and build solutions that improve the developer experience and enhance autonomy to streamline the movement of applications to the cloud.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build a scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant next-generation platform to enable application teams to scale their operations into the public cloud
• Develop self-service automation tools to optimize infrastructure management including provisioning, maintenance, failover, and disaster recovery
• Understand business and technical requirements, translating those needs into AWS products and services
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of cloud services in development, test and production environments
• Maintain document and diagram cloud solutions, gathering requirements to support the platform and systems
• Develop and document standard methodologies
• Participate in Agile planning, sprints, and associated ceremonies
• Drive innovation and platform automation
• Be a strong technologist with a pragmatic view and creative mind, and a natural collaborator with a line of business owners, architects, developers, service providers, and senior management

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5+ years of validated experience in the IT or tech industry in a highly technical and analytical role
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud
• Must have significant expertise in designing, building, and automating highly reliable and scalable enterprise cloud solutions that use AWS (or Azure, Google equivalent) services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, and others
• Fluent in AWS CLI
• Proven experience with creating Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
• Experience with creating and maintaining automation pipelines
• Experience with Python scripting
• Proficiency in migrating on-premises applications and workloads to the cloud through refactoring, reengineering, or lift-and-shift
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, Agile environment with both tactical and strategic deliveries
• Must be detail-oriented, task-driven, and have superb interpersonal skills to present to both technical and non-technical partners
• Must be intellectually curious and love learning new skills and capabilities
• AWS Professional level certification (DevOps or Solution Architect) is preferred
• Domain knowledge (mutual funds, financial securities, etc.) or previous experience working in asset management, financial services, or a financial systems background is preferred
