Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are actively seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on MLOps and experience working with dedicated inference runtimes such as Triton, DeepStream, NeuralMagic, etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing our data architecture, as well as implementing and deploying Machine Learning models.

About Team:

The Modeling and Offline Simulation team is responsible for building, monitoring, and improving Computer Vision based applications to enhance Walmart's Asset Protection strategy. Members of this team deliver on high visibility applications deployed in real-world environments by leveraging strong theoretical backgrounds in AI/ML with practical software engineering experience.

What you'll do:

1. Design, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.

2. Deploy Machine Learning models using dedicated inference runtime for optimal performance at the edge.

3. Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI models.

4. Develop tools and processes to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

5. Implement measures to address data privacy, security, and compliance issues.

6. Work on optimizing the existing data systems and develop new ones from the ground up.

7. Establish efficient, automated processes for model development, validation, implementation, and documentation.

8. Conduct data cleaning, preparation, and quality checks.

9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and be prepared to suggest new solutions and innovations.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the company's requirements and propose data-oriented solutions.

What you'll bring:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role in data management.

3. Extensive experience with at least one DNN inference runtime

4. Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

6. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

7. Strong knowledge of Machine Learning models and principles.

8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

9. Strong project management and organizational skills.

10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
  • Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...
