12-month clinical (non-tenure track) position in the Educational Leadership, Evaluation, & Organizational Development Department at the University of Louisville

The Organizational Leadership and Learning Bachelor of Science (BSOLL) program at the University of Louisville seeks an individual to join our innovative online programs. This appointment is for a full-time term (non-tenure track) faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate. Candidates at both ranks will be fully considered. This position is on-site12-month (renewable). This is a teaching focused position supporting the development of both the Healthcare Leadership track and the larger BSOLL program, with candidates needing expertise related to organizational leadership and learning as well as healthcare leadership. The ideal candidate will work as a collaborative faculty member committed to academic excellence, innovation, and student success. Teaching assignments will vary based upon individual expertise and could include coursework related to Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, Instructional Technology, Data Analytics, Healthcare Finance, Healthcare Accounting, Healthcare Law, Healthcare Strategic Management and Planning, Health Information Management, Human Resource Development, and/or Health Needs Assessment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will teach 10 undergraduate-level courses, support students, participate in ongoing program development, support enrollment management activities (e.g., retention and graduation efforts) and provide service to the program, department, college, university, and profession.

Required Qualifications:

Terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D.) in a relevant field Work experience in a clinical and/or administrative healthcare settings Demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity, social justice, equity, and inclusion, and students from diverse communities and backgrounds Demonstrated experience teaching online and ability to develop and deliver high-quality courses Experience with the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is highly desired Ability to work in a productive and positive collaborative environment with colleagues and community stakeholders Openness and capable of learning and adapting to new environments Ability to work within prepared curriculum guidelines, and agility to create courses so that are unique to various program offerings to meet student needs Experience with Instructional Design is highly desired

The program is part of the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development, which includes over 25 full-time faculty members, and offers programs in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, Human Resources & Organizational Development, Program Evaluation, and Organizational Leadership & Learning. Our programs have extensive engagement with community and industry partners.

SALARY: Competitive, based upon qualifications and experience;
