The position is under APAC Business Performance Management, Finance department. APAC is one of the important Sales Business Unit of Vestas. Along with developing market trend, offshore business takes significant role in Vestas business stream. Now offshore market in APAC is mainly in Taiwan, Japan and extended to Korea soon.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly closing for offshore projects, P&L, balance sheet provider and analysis, actual performance vs. forecast, budget, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Diving into and driving business performance is necessary.
  • Ensure controlling of the business in coordination with Corporate Guidelines as well as external/internal regulation.
  • Lead and set up business (project level) cost structure, define and implement cost plan, monitor, timely forecast to secure proper margin.
  • Coordinate and support business stakeholder, reporting manager, shared service center, group controllers and group functions.
  • Providing advice from financial perspective to business.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in key financial functions like accounting, controlling and auditing etc. in multinational company. 3-5 years' experience in similar position is required.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting, financial or business analysis.
  • Familiar to financial accounting (IFRS and Taiwan local accounting policy) and reporting structure (Profit center, Project level)
  • Good business understanding with experiences in project base management is necessary. Wind industry, especially offshore experience is desirable.
  • Clear understanding of value chain and value flows of project.
  • Knowledge of applicable tax laws and regulations (Taiwan)
  • SAP, SAC knowledge and experience is necessary.
