Angular Software Developer 

Job Summary: 

The developer will be responsible for the design and development of various components within Emerson’s Pipeline Studio software using Angular and .NET Core technology. This position reports to the Application Development Manager.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

  • Design and Develop software modules 
  • Liaise with group Lead Developers to:
  • Provide breakdown of tasks required to implement features
  • Estimate effort
  • Implement requirements
  • Provide clear progress updates
  • Fix bugs
  • Work with the QA team to investigate and fix software defects
  • Provide technical background and software expertise to address enhancement requests and resolve customer issues
  • Write code that is well-designed, high-quality, reusable and unit tested
  • Participate in an Agile software development environment

For This Role, You Will Need: 

  • Experience in Parallel, Async programming (async, await, …)
  • Experience in SignalR 
  • Experience in Agile methodology 
  • Experience in secure product development lifecycle
  • DevOps CI/CD
  • API automated testing 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent 
  • 3 - 5 years of solid C# Object Oriented Design Principles and Design Patterns 
  • Strong working knowledge of Angular 15 or above (components, architecture, directives, modules, and services), Angular CLI, Angular Material, RxJS and Observables, TypeScript, and .NET Core (MVC, Reflection, …)
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs and Web API development 
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent documentation¸ communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a complex team structure, including distributed (i.e. global) teams.
