Team overview and job responsibilities:

We are looking for the experienced Non Raw Materials Manager who is responsible for all Non Raw Material Commodities within the North Europe region, balancing local strategies with centrally and regional coordinated actions.

The activities must be performed in strict cooperation with both Prysmian Head Quarter purchasing and North Europe organization, fitting Purchasing strategy into the project / contract flow and timeline and supporting project delivery.

NRM manager is also responsible for deploying at local level the purchasing organizational structure enforcing the importance of commodity approach at regional level rather than country-based approach.

Regional Head of NRM supervise the whole NRM Purchasing flow for the region: from Sourcing to Procurement, using the necessary technicality (i.e. SAP flow) to correctly set the Procurement to Payment flow with a variable involvement level on the basis of both team and commodity maturity. From time to time he/she is also responsible for training new team members on specific NRM commodities following the guidelines coming from Central HQ.

Ultimately the regional manager of NRM is responsible for the overall performance of the Region in terms of both Recurring and Spot actions, and such performance shall be properly registered on the NRM reporting dashboard on a monthly basis.

Your daily duties will include, and You will be responsible on the following:

• Manage Sourcing and Procurement activities for the assigned projects, services, commodities, with a strict monitor of all major KPIs: price, quality, service, time, risk, etc…
• Ensure continuous alignment within Indirect, Capex & Services Purchasing strategy;
• Review local contracts:
• ensuring that Terms and Conditions contents are capable to support services / goods delivery
• evaluating all major risks related to different contract formula
• Guide the team in coordinating with all the relevant Internal Customer Departments for the purchasing aspects relevant to technical specifications/scope of works;
• Guarantee support to the inter-functional Working Teams;
• Ensure economic efficiency and effectiveness objectives as well as increase Purchasing team operational effectiveness

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate, who has:

• 5 to 7 years’ experience as a purchasing professional, better if already performed within Indirect Materials / Services commodities.
• Flexible mindset is necessary because, depending on priorities and workload, it occurs to move from a project to another to look after and consequently change Teams to interface with.
• Team working/problem solving attitude
• Program management capabilities
• Strong negotiation skills
• English language knowledge (Advanced level)
• SAP package knowledge
• Strong networking and coordination skills
• Strong knowledge of purchasing rules / systems / processes
• Having worked in global / multinational environment with matrix organization will be a plus.
