Your Impact

You are a Software Engineer looking to take your career and technical skills to the next level. Your passion is learning new technical areas and coming up with innovative solutions for customer problems. As an iOS mobile engineer on the Real Time Operations team, you will be a key part of our next generation of applications. You’ll involve in multiple activities to extend our product capabilities as well as solidify it for new customers. You’ll ensure our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards. You also take the lead in our new initiatives that leverage technologies to make safer life for millions of people.

What You’ll Do

Location: London, England or Remote, Greater London Area

Reports to: Engineering Manager

  • Design, implement and maintain features within Axon Respond and related shared libraries.
  • Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create an integrated solution.
  • Focus on execution, set a high technical bar for the team through code and design reviews.

What You Bring

  • Strong computer science backgrounds (programming, data structure, algorithm).
  • 5+ years of shipping high quality iOS applications.
  • Mastery of Swift, proficient in Objective-C.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with other team members.
  • Clear communication in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or other quantitative fields.
  • Proven experience writing technical design/interface documents.
  • CI/CD: experience creating and managing automation and integration.
  • Attention to quality, experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • Toolchain: Cocoapods, Carthage, SPM.
  • Experience with CLEAN architecture, VIPER design pattern.
  • Understanding of some of the following: Video Playback, Audio/Video Streaming, USB, Ethernet, Wireless (BT, BLE, WiFi, LTE), and IoT cloud integration.
