About the Team

Bose is on a mission to tackle the significant health and social issue of untreated hearing loss. In our Technology Licensing Team, we're dedicated to reimagining the hearing landscape to enable more individuals to enjoy improved hearing, staying connected to their world and loved ones. We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager with a special focus on Hearing Aids to spearhead this transformative journey.

About the Role

  • Develop comprehensive product definitions, user stories, and requirements, leveraging insights from diverse customer and market data.
  • Spearhead product co-creation teams to align product strategies, market positioning, and business models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, design, and external partners, to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Champion the ideation and conceptualization of new product initiatives, setting the direction for future Bose Hear partnerships.
  • Uphold rigorous standards in product management practices, from initial assessments to detailed requirement specifications.
  • Lead pivotal development stage gate reviews with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate product training and informational sessions to ensure internal alignment and understanding.

About You

You are deeply invested in making a tangible difference in people's lives through innovative products. Your extensive product management background is matched with a profound understanding of the hearing aid market, including its regulatory nuances, competitive dynamics, and customer needs. Your ability to navigate startup environments, lead with influence, and foster collaboration sets you apart.

  • Proven expertise in hearing aid product management.
  • Deep empathy and understanding of the target customer group, specifically individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences based on robust market research and intuitive understanding.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a compelling portfolio of past projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and guide them towards a unified product vision.
  • Skilled in managing complex discussions around product and performance trade-offs throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Strong collaborative spirit, valuing team input and fostering an environment of idea exchange.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic environment, balancing stakeholder needs effectively.
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • An MBA is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally (10-20%).
