IT Production Technician

PRIMARY PURPOSE:To ensure timely scheduling, production and distribution of claims management system reports, interfaces, and customized spreadsheets or databases for clients; and to provide customer support for recipients of bank, claim and carrier interfaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews integrity reports for central and local claims management systems; researches and corrects imbalance situations.
  • Reconciles client reporting packages; corrects data within a claims management system as needed.
  • Researches and resolves report or data discrepancies reported by clients or local offices.
  • Monitors the national extract upload process for a centralized claims management system; reports discrepancies.
  • Extracts information for centralized and/or local claims management system; produces hoc reports/spreadsheets for colleagues and clients.
  • Converts claim data from one office to another.
  • Changes organizational structure of a group of claims.
  • Processes and submits reports, interfaces and spreadsheets to appropriate parties.
  • Adheres to the goal of delivering an maintaining the highest quality of customer service to our clients.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Associate degree in a computer field from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years spreadsheet, report writing, and database experience and one (1) year customer service experience in claims management or insurance environment. UNIX operating systems experience preferred.
