We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Oracle DBA, to work in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Administration and configuration of Exadata machine components, including Cell Server, Infiniband switch, Cisco switch, PDU, KVM.
- Configuring and monitoring the cell server thresholds, troubleshooting cell server, Infiniband, Cisco switch, RAC interconnects issues.
- Familiarity with cell server cellcli commands, addition and deletion of disks on cell server.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in patching and upgrading Cell server, compute node, grid, database, Infiniband switch, Cisco switch in Exadata/RAC environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting network and I/O-related issues in the Exadata environment.
- Troubleshoot and conduct RCA for Oracle outages, along with tuning and adjusting new production databases.
- SQL tuning skills and experience in refactoring SQL queries to improve performance (index rebuilding, refactoring, etc.).
