About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Software Factory Technician-Mid Level to add to our Enterprise Analytics and Systems Support Services (EASSS) team in support of Human Resources Command (HRC) Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • GITLAB EXPERIENCE
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements
  • Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries. Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Be able to resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT/STIG policies and procedures.
  • Perform optimization and performance testing, provide technical support for incident response and reporting
  • Able to perform repetitious detail assignments and data processing.
  • Taking business requirements (features, change requests, etc.) as input.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Education may be submitted with year of experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in managing, mentoring, and leading software engineering teams
  • Meet the IAT-II qualifications as outlined in DoD 8570-01.M

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

  • Secret Clearance

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Expertise in software development tools and processes.

Min Citizenship Status Required: U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position.

Location: Fort Knox, KY or remote locations under special circumstances.
