As a Lead Test Engineer in our team, you will:
- Establish a testing strategy and process for field testing and test automation.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for the release cycles.
- Developing, implementing, and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure that the product meets required quality, function, and performance specifications before release.
- Lead projects and quality initiatives across teams
- Relevant experience in testing and validation of software products
- Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
- Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate efficiently across teams to influence design for testability.
- Execute automated tests, report results, and be a vocal advocate for quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Who are you?
- Relevant experience in testing and validation of software products
- Experience in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Groovy, JavaScript, shell)
- Expertise in defining test plans and designing test cases to assess product quality
- Ability to collaborate efficiently across functional borders
- Previous experience with Android Automotive systems is a Plus.
- Good understanding of JIRA, Zephyr and Gitlab.
- High degree of comfort in using a wide variety of (mainly open source) technologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English
