GovCIO is seeking a Corporate Security Director to lead our team-oriented, customer-focused Security Program. GovCIO is a full-service information technology and enterprise service management provider. For more than 30 years, we have been entrusted with providing the U.S. government and partner nations mission-critical support for their complex requirements. This includes cyber operations, network engineering, software development, mission services, and sustainment solutions for the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, and federal Health and Civilian agencies. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA or Huntsville, AL and will be a hybrid position.

We are seeking a Security Director who is a team player that generates workable solutions to resolve issues and maintains compliance with Government and Contract requirements. The qualified candidate should come equipped with knowledge of security standards and security operation procedures (SOP) developed to meet the spirit and intent of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), including 32 CFR Part 117.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), including 32 CFR Part 117, and will coordinate and monitor sensitive aspects of the company's industrial security programs.
  • Provide, manage, and lead a DCSA compliant Insider Threat Program (ITP) functions across the enterprise for all unclassified and classified work.
  • Provide, manage, and lead the Facility Security Officer (FSO) function, including subordinate entities, pursuant to the Facility Security Clearance (FCL) as defined in the NISP.
  • Manage of team of three (3) Security Professionals facilitating security clearance and suitability processing for DoD, DOJ, and DHS contracts; Producing Access Control Credentials; Completing SF85/86 reviews, advisement, and submissions; Submitting VARs, LOA/Deployments, SCI NOMs, CAC/PIV requests, special access briefings, input foreign travel notification into DISS and coordinate outside briefings, and eQIP initiations as needed per contract requirements; Supporting collateral level security programs, Intelligence Community programs and special access programs.
  • Mentoring and training Security staff.
  • Conducts annual self-inspections to identify strengths or weaknesses within the company security program.
  • Develops and maintains an enterprise-wide Security Education, Training and Awareness Program, to include initial, annual, and exit security briefs.
  • Submit Adverse Information Reports to the US Government, as required
  • Partners with others across the organization to develop and implement security standards, policies, and practices to make continual improvements and increase the effectiveness of security programs.
  • Working with prime and sub-contractors to maintain contract security compliance.
  • Reviewing DD 254s and preparing subcontractor DD 254s.
  • Review and revise company Security Compliance policies and procedures.

Desired Additional Capabilities:

  • Maintain the company’s Export Compliance Program; Includes DDTC Registration annual renewal, updates to registration data, license application for exports, serving as the company Empowered Official, and update company export policies and procedures, when needed.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives and Program Guidance (ICDs and ICPGs), and Security Executive Agent Directives.
  • Familiarization with Communication Security (COMSEC) requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate establishment of accredited Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and oversee the project’s security program.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's with 15+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, DISS, NBIS, NISS, NCCS, SIMS, DECCS, NP2, CCure, SPOT, eQIP, ACCS.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Clearance Required: Current Top Secret Security Clearance is Required.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
