Job Overview

Data access expertise to complete and manage the data permit processes, data extraction processes and data providers engagements. Holistic knowledge about local data providers and data availability in national and quality registries. Data access expertise to complete feasibility study tasks across all workstreams, to manage the data permit processes according to country regulations, data extraction processes and data providers engagements. Holistic knowledge about feasibility study deliveries and requirements. Manages the operational aspects of data access. Perform data mining and analysis, interprets, and presents data to internal and potentially external stakeholders. Will follow all project SOPs, policies and practices applying to data access tasks.

Responsibilities

Data access expertise

  • Prepare and coordinate data permit and research ethics processes of local and international studies for our Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects. Close communication and collaboration with local and international registry data holders
  • Manage data permit and extraction timelines
  • Manage data fees and invoices in collaboration with the project manager
  • Maintain document repository to support team activities and knowledge build
  • Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate the Data Access and Partnerships knowledge sharing initiatives
  • Collaborate with other project resources and stakeholders within and outside the organization
  • Provide input into project proposals and RFPs
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics
  • Identify a scope for data access
  • Participate to team member meetings on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met
  • Partner with other Data Access Experts to develop and implement process improvements

Data feasibility assessments

  • Support the feasibility team in data feasibility assessment and reporting within our Global Database studies
  • Support in the design and prepare templates and develop contents for feasibility deliverables (plans, data source assessment forms and reports) to collect and assess global feasibility information
  • Support in the outreach and data insight collection for internal/external data holders
  • Gathers, interprets, and presents data to internal project teams
  • Support in preparing presentation slides for client meetings or proposals
  • Act as a country- and/or data source specific subject matter expert to support with specific insights, guidance and data holder engagements in feasibility activities and full study conduct
  • Support with planning the feasibility assessment timelines and activities
  • Support multi-country and multi-team communication and collaboration throughout the project activities

Business Development

  • May participate in providing input into proposal development and sales/proposal presentations
  • May participate on other BD activities where proprietary and/or non-proprietary secondary databases are planned to be used

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/ master’s degree in health care, biological-, or medical sciences or related field
  • At least 2 years of related experience Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities. Proficiency in written and spoken academic level English
  • Local language capabilities are a core qualifier for the role. Multilingual capabilities are also highly desirable for the role but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under limited direction and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Strong computer literacy, including well-developed computer skills in applicable software, such as MS Office applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, clinical coding systems and health care systems.
  • Previous experience from working with national health care registries/data holders in Denmark and/or national quality registries is highly desirable but not required. As this role includes frequent and close communication and collaboration with local data holders, official agencies and authorities, strong communication skills, including fluent written and spoken local language, is a requirement for this position.
