The Role

As a Configurations Analyst within H&B, you will be an integral member of the Technology Enablement team, involved in a number of data implementation activities to support our international benefits offerings including the following activities: 

  • Gathering requirements for inbound and outbound data feeds, setting data scrubbing parameters, defining calculations related to the appropriate benefits, and building data validations and reporting into our proprietary data cleaning system
  • Coordinating with Technology Enablement team project managers and local brokers on timing, implementations, and requirements gathering for the successful implementation of the Data Modules

Key Activities

  • Actively participate and engage in the definition of our standard Data Modules being rolled out to the H&B business within WTW, which includes the following – 
  • Continue to stay up to speed with System Enhancements + newly identified Business Requirements
  • Identify areas for improvement to evolve our standard H&B Configurations Team Processes 
  • Ensure our Benefits Access Clients + Country Roll Outs continue to evolve side by side with the above
  • Actively participate in the data collection planning and preparation process
  • Ensure appropriate governance and work quality processes are followed on all work carried out

The Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in as a systems analyst, data configuration and basic programming skills (Visual Basic), and strong analyst background experience in the benefits industry is preferred 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience successfully balancing multiple projects, working with tight deadlines and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget often across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team members
  • Collaboration with a global team, including taking accountability for quality on-time delivery of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Continuous improvement mind-set – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each repetition and making recommendations for process improvement
  • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to work both independently and on client teams
  • Proficiency in English (speaking + written) required
