As the Chief Legal Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within an organization, including legal compliance, risk management, contracts, intellectual property, litigation, corporate governance, and providing legal counsel to senior management.
Reports to: CEO
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the team
- Interaction with law enforcement and governmental agencies in Ukraine
- Protection of intellectual property of the company globally
- Support of the management with legal advices
- Compliance and risk management
- Support the financial team with the tax law advising
- Support the supply chain team with the customs law advising
- Support of the global operations
- Top management support with the legal advice
Qualifications
- Professional experience in manufacturing companies with international presence
- Strong business oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge in corporate law with solid expertise in supporting legal activities on international markets
- Advanced negotiation, presentation, and communication skills: ability to negotiate and build alignment with colleagues and foreign partners
- Open-minded, culturally flexible personality style with high integrity and business ethics
- Confident and professional attitude, paired with personal loyalty and accountability
- High need to achieve results and set development objectives and challenging targets
- Strong leadership skills: ability to orchestrate a team
- Advanced written and spoken English
