monday.com is looking for an IT Cyber Security Specialist, who enjoys Information security work and has both deep and wide expertise in the modern born to the cloud corporate security space.

You will make our corporate environment more secure by protecting system boundaries, securing highly sensitive data, keeping endpoint systems, improving our Identity & privileges accounts protection, and being responsible for our security systems.

Qualified candidates will have a solid background in Information Security and IT security and a great background working with a variety of modern security systems, to protect, detect and respond!

About The Role

  • Maintain and improve security policies and measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information security systems on a continuous basis
  • On-going maintenance of corporate security products in the organization, Leveraging our security tools and protocols and always looking to improve (edited) 
  • Responsibility for high standard policy, control & health of our security systems like DLP, EDR, Mail relay, OKTA, ZTNA, Least privilege\, etc.
  • Escalation contact to cyber security sophisticated security incidents
  • Detect and respond to possible threats or any software issues
  • Deploy and maintain IT Security systems to ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about any security incidents
  • Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems
  • Develop best practices and IT security standards for the organization
  • In depth knowledge of security vulnerabilities and security gaps
  • Security certifications – CISSP, CISA, CISM -advantage.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of IT security: a strong foundation in IT security principles and practices, including knowledge of network security, vulnerability assessment, risk management, compliance, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with a range of security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Continuous learning: a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends. This involves attending conferences, pursuing industry certifications, and participating in training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Proven experience as an IT Security or Information Security Engineer
  • Hands-on experience in IT security systems, including firewalls, EDR, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems (IDP), log management, content filtering, NAC, DLP, Update management, etc
  • Experience working with SOC teams and experience with incident response is preferred.
  • Experience in building and maintaining IT security systems - DLP, Endpoint security, content filters, privileges accounts
  • Experience with network technologies, topology, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
  • Effective communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills, with an ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work alone, prioritize your tasks, and build relationships across the organization.
  • Experience with cloud security vendors- nice to have.
  • Experience with Security Saas applications. 
  • Knowledge/experience with Operating Systems (MAC, Windows)
  • Experience with network security
