Job Summary:

The Reinsurance Corporate Underwriting department of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Corporate Underwriting Senior Business Analyst to join our New York, NY office or Warren, NJ.

This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure Everest Reinsurance Underwriting data integrity within various proprietary systems (EZFlow, UWS, Catapult, etc.) to confirm the alignment with the overall Corporate Underwriting objectives
  • Lead the data investigation and analysis to ensure adherence across IT, Underwriting, SOX and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in maintenance, updates, periodic dashboard revisions and reporting off TeamThink, the Underwriting Quality review platform
  • Assist Corporate Underwriting Quality team to conduct periodic verification of various processes to ensure they are current, effective and efficient
  • Assist Corporate Underwriting Team Leads with data and process inquiries during Global Underwriting Quality reviews, Internal Audit SOX testing and External Audits
  • Support Corporate Underwriting Team Leads to facilitate the granting/removing of necessary system access with IT for guest reviewers 
  • Interact with Corporate Underwriting team, IT, Internal Audit, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting Community and other functional areas globally in response to requests and inquiries from internal business partners
  • Ability to create engaging and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations with animated slides to simplify and present complex concepts effectively
  • Support the Head of Corporate Underwriting Quality and the Corporate Underwriting team with day-to-day key operations innovation initiatives, ad hoc projects, or business needs

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Multi-years of current Re/Insurance P&C industry or Financial Services experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Technology
  • Proficiency in technical data searching/report building/system maintenance/SQL queries (preferably), Microsoft Suite with advance Power Point Presentation and strong Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.) skills
  • Power BI skills preferred
  • Effective problem-solving ability to demonstrate structured thinking, attention to details and analytical skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills to effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks, changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
