Position Summary
The NASP-approved School Psychology Graduate Program at Minot State University has a long history of producing highly-qualified school psychologists who are employed throughout the country. The program uses a cohort model and admits seven to ten students each year, which creates a desirable faculty-to-student ratio for research and community involvement. Representing the only school-psychology graduate program in the state of North Dakota, Minot State faculty members have the opportunity for state-level leadership and are sought after for their professional expertise by many stakeholders. Responsibilities
This is a nine-month, tenure track position with additional opportunities to teach during the summer semester if desired. The school psychology faculty provide didactic teaching in a face-to-face and/or online environment. The teaching load for this position is typically twelve credit hours each semester (Fall and Spring). The successful candidate is expected to make scholarly contributions to the discipline, serve on department and university committees, and contribute service to the community. The position begins August 2023.
Minimum Qualifications
The highly qualified applicant will hold a Ph.D. in school psychology and be a NCSP. Applicants with an Ed.S. in school psychology with significant experience as a practicing school psychologist will be considered for this position. ABD applicants are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
