Position Information

POSITION: Head Women’s Soccer Coach

LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, 10-month, non-benefited

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Anyone eligible to work in the United States

JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of an Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer program, including recruitment and development of 20+ student athletes, travel preparation, organization and development of game plans, budget management, hiring and development of assistant coaches, and assisting with the growth and promotion of the NDSCS Athletics Catbackers/Letterwinners Club.

SALARY: $7,500 for recruitment + $15,000 for fall season

Required Competencies

  • Must support the mission, vision and values of NDSCS
  • 2+ years of club, interscholastic, or intercollegiate coaching experience
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Availability to work weekends and occasional holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience developing/managing a budget
  • Successful recruiting experience
  • Regional coaching experience
  • Successful coaching experience at a post-secondary level
