WHO YOU ARE:

As Senior Manager of Brand, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the Snowflake brand, driving brand growth, and ensuring the brand remains relevant and impactful in the marketplace. This role involves working on the brand identity and activations across various marketing channels and touchpoints that differentiate Snowflake. 

You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude. A brand marketer who is creatively minded and can comfortably contribute to brainstorming sessions with creative leadership that sparks activation ideas, and quickly brings those ideas to market. You have a portfolio of experience that demonstrates how you have created brand moments that drove awareness, buzz, and engagement for both technology and consumer brands. As a manager of teams, you have developed a range of skills to motivate others to deliver their best work. 

This role reports into the Head of Brand Marketing and is part of the larger function that includes Brand Design, Voice and Storytelling, Video Production, Customer Marketing, and Web Experience. 

This is a hybrid role, with a dedicated three days in the San Mateo office. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Be a critical member of the Brand Marketing team responsible for building a strong and positive association with the brand and its audience, ultimate driving customer loyalty, engagement and sales 
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive brand approach aligned with Snowflake’s overall objectives 
  • Identify and foster partnerships and collaborations that align with the Snowflake brand values and help reach new audiences 
  • Proactively contribute to creative discussions and brand brainstorming sessions to spark new and innovative ideas to build awareness and loyalty for the Snowflake brand
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, educate internal and external audiences on use, and ensure consistent application across all communication and marketing materials
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure brand health, monitor brand performance, report on metrics and and develop plans to advance
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand direction and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work cross functionally with brand design, product marketing, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure brand alignment across all customer touchpoints 
  • Manage a team of brand professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities to build a high performing team
  • Work with external partners on key brand initiatives and programs to execute quickly and bring activations to market 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities to enhance the overall experience and keep our brand presence at the forefront of innovation

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

  • A blend of education, extensive hands-on experience, management skills, and proven ability to drive successful brand initiatives 
  • A proven track record of success in brand management, with several years of experience developing brands, overseeing brand identity, contributing to positioning and messaging, and leading brand campaigns 
  • A history of driving brand innovation, developing and launching brand initiatives, and adapting approaches to evolving market trends
  • Strong communication skills and experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as with partners, agencies, and vendors
  • Experience working for hyper-growth companies and skilled at balancing the need to execute quickly while setting for scale 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

  • Proven experience with 12+ years of brand management experience leading well known technology and consumer brands
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, or similar discipline
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Wrike, and Canva, is a plus
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, training, and a strong track record of success in brand management
