As a Senior Technical Program Manager of Network Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the execution of various network programs aimed at enhancing the stability, performance, and scalability of our datacenter network infrastructure. With a deep understanding of network technologies, you will lead initiatives spanning network infrastructure, automation, roadmap development, and incident management. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and evolution of our datacenter network infrastructure to meet both current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and optimization of the core infrastructure of the network backbone, ensuring seamless interconnectivity across various components of the data center infrastructure including servers, storage, switches, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the network team to design and implement automation solutions for network provisioning, streamlining operations, and reducing manual efforts
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive quarterly Network Roadmap aligning with organizational objectives
  • Develop plans for optimization, establish robust monitoring and alerting systems, and enhance collaboration and operational efficiency among internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Implement long-term incident management practices to mitigate risks and improve network reliability
  • Ensure that ongoing network enhancement efforts are aligned with long-term scalability, reliability, and performance goals
  • Lead efforts to forecast network capacity requirements and plan for scalable infrastructure solutions to accommodate future growth and demand
  • Develop monitoring strategies and tools to assess and optimize the performance of network points of presence (POPs) in alignment with organizational objectives
  • Develop comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for datacenter network infrastructure and POPs to ensure business continuity in the event of unforeseen disruptions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering or technical program management roles, with a focus on datacenter network infrastructure
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex network programs and initiatives
  • Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, and equipment
  • Strong understanding of network automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools
  • The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $165,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
